ReeFlowers Bacteria Feeder contains a variety of nutrients that allow the rapid growth of beneficial bacteria that survive by consuming nitrate and phosphate. These beneficial bacteria grow rapidly in the aquarium environment and enable the biological cleaning process to create a natural habitat for living things
.
It is very effective in reducing nitrate and phosphate levels in fresh and saltwater aquariums.
Instructions for use
It is recommended that 2 ml of ReeFlowers Bacteria Feeder is added for every 100 liters of water, once every two days (for average loaded salt, freshwater, planted aquariums). Do not exceed 5 ml in any one day and for long-term use, no more than 2 ml should be used on a daily basis.
Measure the nitrate and phosphate levels in the aquarium once a week through the use of appropriate tests. Stop using, if nitrate and phosphate levels are found to be lower than 2 ppm and 0.02 ppm respectively.
In cases where overdose occurs or otherwise suitable biological conditions emerge, bacteria population may abruptly exceed desired levels, leading to white turbidity in water. This condition would not harm your species living in the water.
If excessive bacteria growth occurs, stop using the product, until turbidity completely disappears. Protein skimmer should not be turned off, as the need for oxygen would increase; it should rather be turned down, as otherwise, excessive accumulation could result. Turbidity will disappear approximately in 48 hours. After the water is normal again, you can carry on with the application. Reduce the dose to half, if excessive bacteria growth repeats.
